The Telford and Shropshire LVEP Destination Master Plan set out priorities and establishes a shared ambition for visitor economy growth across Telford and Shropshire.

The annual LVEP action plan reflects both local and national priorities and outlines how the Telford and Shropshire LVEP will collaborate with VisitEngland to contribute to the development of a sustainable visitor economy strategy for England.

The Telford and Shropshire LVEP Destination Master Plan brings together the two existing tourism strategies representing Telford and Shropshire[CS1.1] and the needs of the tourism sector business community. It aims to strengthen governance through a joint advisory board; improving organisational alignment; delivering an accessibility support programme; advancing a joint communications strategy; and developing business and visitor surveys to improve data-led decision-making.

The plan also highlights national influence, commercial strategy, business support and capacity building through training opportunities. Long-term activity runs to 2030, with early actions laying the foundations for future delivery.
